Monica Dixon

I have been working as Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 13 years.  Most of my experience has been in a school setting.  I went to Utah State University in Logan, Utah for both my Bachelors and my Masters Degree.  I hold a Masters of Education in Speech Pathology and hold my CCC's under the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

I started this blog as a way to get information out to the families I work with.  It is such a joy for me to work with students every day.  I get most excited when families stay in contact with me and want additional ideas of what they can do to help their child at home.  This blog is an effort to more fully support the students I work with and their families.

In my spare time away from work, I enjoy hiking, walking, cooking, organizing, decorating, fashion, traveling and reading.  I enjoy spending time with  my family and friends.

I feel it an opportunity and privilege to work with students everyday.  I love teaching my students how to be a more effective communicator in their everyday lives.  It is very exciting and inspiring when I see a student reach a goal and see their own success.  Thank you for allowing me to work with your child
